Sigh.

I used to have the dream and then I married an Englishman with no taste that won't let me have taste.

This used to be my bed: http://www.flickr.com/photos/travelingtreefrog/27344084/in/set-1180752/

My mom has it now and the plan is that we will ship it here when we have a place to put it.

I had (have still but can't use them here as they are Queen) ridiculously high thread count sheets, expensive pilllowtop matress, a feather bed, fluffy duvet. . .

Here, I am stuck on a poxy double bed that came with the flat, cheap scratchy sheets, a thin duvet because Stu hates thick duvets and his favourite duvet cover has little suns and moons all over it.

I dream of having my own room that he can't touch.

I JUST DID THIS MYSELF! I bought an insanely pricey set of queen size orgasmically soft sheets (QSOSS). Have you anything comparable to thecompanystore.com out there? I did a search for the aforementioned QSOSS because I have been so dissatisfied with my own. According to the WSJ, they are THE best sheets. When they landed like manna on my doorstep and I excitedly tucked them in, and then landed in bed hours later, I wept. It is so very worthwhile. However, I could not afford two sets, but I also have a dryer ;)- NYS
